| So, as some of you know, i am a street rep for InPop records. They have
artists such as Tree63 and Superchick signed under them. I just
recieved an email from Shara Katerburg, asking me to recommend 3 indie
bands (meaning locally, unsigned bands) who would like to have an
opportunity to sign with a record label. Now, ya'll know i dont get to
get out much, so if anyone has any suggestions, i'm totally open to
hearing some ideas for this!!! Also, although they are MAINLY a
Christian label, they are looking for all genre's of bands..... dont
hold out on me!! LOL  If
you have a band, or know of a band that would like to have this chance,
please, let me know ASAP!!!! leave a message here on myspace, facebook,
xanga, AIM (titansmth), or call me 741-3282...... anyway you choose,
let me know, so i can get Shara some names of local bands. I can only
submit 3 to her..... so let me know!!

| ok, so i'm tired of all the drama.and I know this is a long
blog, but its getting ridiculous, and i think its time to air it a little more
so that ya'll know what i'm dealing with. in my last blog (the long one) i
discussed a certain group of people being responsible for calling Child Protective
Services on me, which i think they did because i made them mad because i
insisted that what was due to me and the girls be given before everyone left
for vacation. the following conversation occurred recently.... which i will
copy and paste, deleting identifying information about the other party, and
adding commentary by me LOL

Can I take Ashley Monday and Tuesday?
ME: she has school
A: Some day this will all catch up
with you...when she is old enough to be told the real truth...and how you always
played games to keep her away from us....all these messages are being kept...do
what you want .....I KNOW I AM A GOOD **edit** TO THAT LITTLE GIRL.....
ME: there are no games, she has school. she cant miss.
i'll lose my funding.
keep the messages. the ones sent once every two or three weeks to me to ask
for her. i dont care to let her come, and you should know that, but she
cant miss school. I'm sorry that you feel the way you do, that i play games,
but
i'm not, and i've never said you werent a good **edit** to her. this is
only about her not missing school. she cant do it. plain and simple. i'm
sorry. We are all three praying for you and your family
A: we got to get her out of school last year with no
problems...I only get Mon and Tues, off...does this mean I never get to see her
again...and quit it the the "GOD" stuff...remember we lived with you
and saw alot///don't try and fool us...not to mention all the boyfriends, even
all the flirting when you were married to my son...we are not blind or stupid...and
you are not fooling God. you are the one who needs to be prayed
for.....at least for the girls sake....I don't care if you sleep with
every guy around....I know I will go to heaven.....do whats right for Ashley

Was I wrong in any of that? Please, friends, tell me. That’s
what real friends do, check each other when they are wrong. But, allow me to
explain something to you guys.
This person had just had DHS at my house, accusing me,
basically, of being a bad mom. That is why the short answer to start with about
Ash having school. Then automatically come the threats of using things I say
against me to eventually turn Ash against me. I just want to make one thing
absolutely clear before we go any farther….
Her dad has visitation. Its every other weekend, and one day
during the off week, which he FAUGHT for, cause the more days he has her, the
less his child support is. I also agreed to work with his work schedule,
because his work schedule does not allow him to be off on weekends. So there is
a stipulation in the divorce papers under the visitation section that he is to
let me know at the beginning of every month when his “weekend” falls and what
day on the opposite week he is off. Our divorce was final in February….. he has
not ONCE since then followed these visitation regulations. He hasn’t even asked
for her EXCEPT when his mom wants her, which also is not very often, which is
fine with me, because his child support will go up due to him not taking his
amount of days with her which was figured into the child support calculator. At
the same time, I’d much rather him take her when he’s supposed to and not the
extra money…. but I have no choice. The state has it now. May I also say that
as we sat there at the mediation table working all this out and he pushed for
more days with her, I sat there and CRIED because I knew he wouldn’t take them.
I KNEW. And he has only proven me right.
Now, back to the conversation, I have Families First, along
with other aid to help with the girls and stuff since I am only going to
school. Their daycare is paid for partially right now through this program. If
they miss more than 5 days in either the first half of the month, or the last
half of the month, then I am in risk of losing my funding. I really don’t have
the money to pay an extra $440 a month for childcare. Especially when I qualify
for the assistance I do! That’s just ridiculous! If I allow her to miss two
days to go play, then she is not only missing valuable learning time, but what
if she by chance gets sick, or something happens and she has to really miss
school (as is the case with my brothers wedding), then what?
The only commentary I wish to offer as to the "GOD" stuff, I don't care if you sleep with
every guy around , and the you are not
fooling God is this: we all know that when we are living in the
world, by the worlds rules and standards, and walking a path totally away from
God, then we do things we aren’t proud of. We also know that God erases all
that, and has no remembrance of it. I do find it amusing about the all the flirting when you were married to my son considering
that he was the one that cheated on me and became addicted to … well.. the
addiction he had. That doesn’t need to be aired here. But, those of you who
know me also know that this trait of my personality has been tamed by the Holy
Spirit. And thats all I got to say about
that.
Now, what prompted me to air all this tonight? Just more
drama today, the daycare received a call asking if ash was there, which they couldn’t
answer, and then they were told by the
caller that they knew she was there. And that her dad would be dropping by to
visit because he worked just up the road. So the manager was talking about it
to me today when we picked the girls up and we had already had the conversation
about people trying to pick her up and not allowed to, because of the whole
thing with her missing and losing funding, but anyways, I’m glad that the
daycare has some sense about them. No one not on the authorized pick up/contact
list is allowed to visit her or pick her up. NO ONE. If someone does try to
cause a fuss, they will call me, and then if a big fuss is made, they will call
the cops. End of story.
I’m over the threats, I’m over being accused of mistreating Ashley
and doing her wrong, when I am NOT the one in the wrong. I’m over the high
school antics coming from adults who need to grow up and act like the adults
they are supposed to be. I work too hard trying to be a great mom, and go to
school in order for the girls to have a better future, and try to make sure
they are getting their educations and being raised in church and loving God to have to be
under attack all the time.
I know this was a tremendously long post, and thanks to
those of you who have actually read all of it! PLEASE if you feel I am wrong in
any of what I’ve said, send me a message, or even leave a comment, and tell me
why I’m wrong. That’s what a true friend would do.

| i know, its been forever since i've posted anything, and i still havent
posted the rest of the road trip blogs, but i will, just so all ya'll's
know what we did! i have a few minutes before i have to go pick up the
girls today, due to getting out of class early, so i thought i'd do a
real quick update.
1. VBS went wonderfully! we even had two boys that were saved and one
filled with the Spirit! Praise the Lord! it was wonderful! the kids all
had a great time and everyone learned a ton. I had so much fun
directing VBS that i let myself forget how much work was having to go
into it. God definately guided my every move because things fell
together so easily, just by listening to Him!
2. I'm getting a new car this weekend hopefully!
3. I am starting the Christmas play at church, directing hte whole
thing, but thankfully i have someone doing JUST the vocal parts LOL we
all know how it'd turn out if i did that!
4. In September i am goign to start teachign a class on Sunday nights
at church on Christian Single Parenting. I'm really excited about that,
and if ya'll know any single parents, send 'em on over! its goign to be
awesome!
5. School has started back and i am COVERED in work.
6. Cheerleading tryouts are wednesday and thursday
7. i had the department of children services come visit me.....
yes..... you read that right..... department of children services......
now allow me to list the reasons she came out:
a. the girls wear dirty clothes all the time
b. ashley has had lice a couple of times this summer
c. they run around outside MSA unsupervised
d. ashley is insecure
e. my boyfriend is mean to ashley
see a pattern here? ash, ash, ash...... hmmm... wonder who called the report in????? (bunch of meddling yankees) ANYWAYS,
so she came in and takled to me and talked to the girls, and asked them
to see thier bedroom, and then looked around the house. she asked me
about hte mean boyfriend, and if he lived here and i LAUGHED outloud,
seriously, and told her that Milligan would kick me out if there was a
guy living here to start with, and then i told her that i wasnt even
dating anyone now. Then when the girls showed her thier bedroom, she
commented on the canopies the girls have over thier beds, and ash pipes
up and says, "Yeah, Alan put those up, and he took for to get ice cream
in his truck" The lady looks at me and says, "alan, is that the "mean"
boyfriend?" i laughed and said yeah, and she said "real mean wasnt he"
So basically by the time she left she thought that whoever called the
report in was retarded, which, knowing who it was......... anyways,
she said she was goign to go back to the office, and put it in the
closed file because there was no reason for a follow up visit, and she
was going to mark in "unfounded" and told me not to think another thing
about it. so.... all in all.... it was pretty funny!
8. Tiff's birthday was last week, and we had her party Saturday, and i
got tickets for me, her, and ash to go to charlotte and see the cheetah
girls and hannah montana in october! They are both super excited about
it!
9. My brother will be home september 5th!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 
i'm just a little excited. He is coming home to get married. I am a
bridesmaid, and BOTH of my girls are flower girls in the wedding! you
should see thier little dresses! they are GORGEOUS........ wow....
sometimes i look at them and think "are they really mine?" LOL
ok what else.......
10.i find it interesting that i have been approached by strangers and
friends both at church, and discussed how much i have changed in the
last two years since i've been at Cornerstone, yet others cant see past
the me that was two years ago. I guess that is something that i will
just have to trust to God, and leave it up to Him to show them that i
have changed, and i'm not who i was. I know that i had definatly
changed a lot in the past 4 months, and i believe those of you closest
to me can really attest to that!
I know that i have stuff to work on, dont we all. even Pastor Ann
admitted last night that she has stuff in her life she needs to work
on. If we were perfect, why would we need God?........................
So lets all pray for one another that we recieve God's mercies, which
are renewed every morning, and that we can walk the path God has given
us. Lets lift each other up instead of cutting each other down and help
each other grow.
well, i guess thats all right now. i'm working at the bookstore on
campus, and loving it. i have a terrific boss! ......... ash is in a
new daycare, and she loves it. tiff has started back to school and is
doing really well........
